Sardine dinner!

T and I are into sardines. These tiny shiny fish tastes so amazing, and so good for you, but not many people in Australia know or even consider them for their meals. Mostly they are used as baits, believe it or not. But that's actually good news for us sardine lovers because it keeps the price so incredibly low, like $3.90/kg. I combed thru some Japanese recipe sites on Sunday night and decided to stuff these little guys with cubed asparagus, mushroom and carrots all tossed with some Korean and Japanese soybean paste. Then I grilled the fish in a toaster/oven we bought over the weekend specifically to grill fish. Absolutely heavenly taste. 03082008109

Cooking as a therapy

When on deadlines, I find it even more compelling to stop writing and cook something nice. It changes the pace of deadline-driven work day, and it has this therapeutic effect on me. This is my sardine tomato basil mushroom pasta I made for lunch!28072008090

Me being a builder!

Still trying to get the hang of this mobile blogging. Hope this will lead to some good use of my time in public transport. This is me the other weekend, building my shelf!19072008079
